Moleculising

Moleculising (Moleculiseren) – Connection in Motion In a time where the individual takes center stage, the need for connection is growing. But what do we actually mean by that? Do we truly want to connect, or are we mostly driven by the ideals of self-determination, autonomy, and self-optimization as the highest values? Are we capable of genuinely opening up, of moving with the other? This movement project focuses on exploring connection in the most literal sense. In a safe, playful, and intuitive way, participants investigate how physical, emotional, and relational connection comes into being. The project offers space to experience and practice what it means to “connect”—with lightness, joy, and imagination as essential elements. In a series of fast, site-specific physical interventions, the performers temporarily reshape urban architecture, allowing viewers to perceive familiar places in a fresh, unexpected way.   These brief, embodied actions are subtle yet disruptive, inviting new ways of seeing, moving, and relating in public space.   In a time when urban environments are increasingly shaped by control, efficiency, and consumerism, Bodies in Urban Spaces offers a poetic and activist response. Bodies that resist discipline claim space, not through protest slogans, but through choreography; not by blocking, but by creating wonder.   These interventions remind us that freedom of movement is also a freedom to be reclaimed. Amid the uniformity of mass production and urban monotony, Bodies in Urban Spaces carves out moments of surprise, playfulness.   The Urban bodies particpative performance was developed...

Every city brought its own story, customs, and bare skin. Black in Arnhem, yellow in Porto, and red in Paris. Work in progress....
