Body & Bricks (2018–present)
Buttocks are soft and vulnerable. We cannot see them when people look at our own. Stone is cold and hard. The city can sometimes feel cold and hard too. How wonderful it would be if there were also something soft in the city — simply to experience softness. Body & Bricks is a gentle protest against the hardness of the city.
This photographic project has been carried out in various major cities, documenting new encounters between the human body and urban stone in each location. Each city brings a new dialogue between flesh and stone, vulnerability and permanence.
